Key Responsibilities:
Analytics & Reporting
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of supply chain dashboards and reports (e.g., OTIF, cycle time, inventory aging, capacity, and freight costs).
- Translate business questions into analytical requirements and deliver recurring and ad-hoc insights for leadership.
- Standardize KPI definitions and ensure consistent measurement across functions.
Data Integration & Governance
- Integrate and harmonize data from SAP, 3PLs, WMS/TMS, freight payment processors, and clinical/commercial systems.
- Maintain data quality controls for master data, lot/batch/PO matching, and data lineage; steward data dictionaries and standards.
- Establish and monitor exception handling, audit trails, and issue remediation workflows.
Reconciliation & Financial Control
- Design and operate automated processes to reconcile internal ERP data with external partner feeds.
- Ensure SOX-compliant documentation, evidence, and control performance; prepare for and support internal/external audits.
- Investigate discrepancies, execute root-cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Risk & Scenario Modeling
- Build and maintain simulation and scenario models (e.g., capacity, storage, logistics risk) to support network strategy and procurement decisions.
- Assess utilization constraints, stress-test future pipeline needs, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Freight Payment & Cost Assurance
- Validate PO allocations, freight invoices, and coding against policy and master data.
- Partner with finance and logistics to resolve discrepancies, recover costs, and prevent excess payments.
Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automation (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA) to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness and accuracy.
- Create SOPs, process maps, and technical documentation to institutionalize tools and processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with commercial planning, clinical operations, logistics, procurement, QA, and finance to define requirements and prioritize analytics roadmaps.
- Coordinate with external partners (3PLs, freight processors, and consultants) on data interfaces, SLAs, and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and sustain performance gains.
- Quantify impact in terms of service, cost, risk, and compliance; track benefits realization
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5years of relevant experience,
OR
Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) with at least 3years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and supply chain operations management.
- Background in inventory planning, production scheduling, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and operational improvement projects.
- Experience supporting global supply chain operations and business process standardization.
