Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

The _Supplier Quality Engineer I_ for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible _for improving supplier quality for purchased components._

This position reports to the Supplier Quality Manager and is part of the Supplier Quality located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• _Execution of daily supplier management actions to improve supplier performance_
• _Disposition nonconforming material and develop plans to prevent recurrence_
• _Primary supplier quality representative for root cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier caused manufacturing issues_
• _Update supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection plans_
• _Work with suppliers to determine root cause and develop robust corrective actions._

The essential requirements of the job include:

• _Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field_
• _0-2 years experience_
• _Ability to read and understand specifications on engineering drawings_
• _Investigation skills to determine if components are nonconforming_
• _Technical writing skills to document investigation results_

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• _Functional experience in supplier management in an FDA or other regulated industry_
• _Knowledge of GDT_
• _Experience with sampling plans and measurement systems_

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
