We are seeking a highly experienced, visionary designer to shape the evolution of conversational AI from a passive responder into a proactive partner. As a member of the Gemini App Model UX team, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and research scientists to build E2E product experiences to improve people’s engagement with Gemini across use cases. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $189,000 - $274,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep understanding of model capabilities to guide prompt engineering and prototyping strategies, ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality model outputs.
• Initiate qualitative assessments of model performance, applying mastery of the eval process to develop a strategy for continuous quality hillclimbing.
• Partner with AI product designers to craft leading-edge multimodal solutions, ensuring model responses and UI components work in concert to deliver cohesive, high quality experiences.
• Stay current on the latest design trends and technologies, in consumer technology, generative AI and natural language processing, and leverage this knowledge to innovate.
