Performs validation operations. Develops real and/or virtual prototypes for early stage product development and innovative technologies. Also provides an opportunity to explore process proof-of-principles to develop learning for commercial and technical services processes.
Plans, coordinates and leads all aspects of service validation operations, including scale up of and optimization processes, equipment assembly, in process sample analysis, and prepares compliance documents. Proposes and resolves new or improved technologies to enhance product quality, servicing cost and operational efficiencies, personnel safety and regulatory compliance. Evaluates analytical results to establish the product quality performance. Prepares and controls procedures, records and other compliance documents. Plans and coordinates verification processes, ensures compliance with clinical and quality processes. Coordinates accurate completion of pilot operations consistent with new product production activities of the department. Supports the transfer of R&D technologies from pilot to commercial scale. Prepares and assists in the execution of process validation, and prepares the process validation report. Works within the project scopes, budgets and schedules for assigned projects and develops engineering specifications and documentation for servicing equipment. Ensures equipment is tested and supports safety and environmental initiatives. Ensures repairs are scheduled.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$125,000.00 - $201,250.00
