The Senior Manager, Supply Planning Sunrise leads the end-to-end supply flow at the Sunrise manufacturing site, ensuring that demand is translated into reliable production output and fulfilled to customers in line with global SIOP decisions, and to design, monitor, and maintain inventory policies for finished goods (FG) and raw materials (RM), supporting service, stability, and overall inventory performance.
The role is accountable for three core and interdependent supply functions:
- End-to-End Supply Planning (Customer Operations) – including order management, order fulfilment, and stock allocation execution
- Production Planning – acting as the primary driver of supply plan integrity and execution performance
- Tactical Procurement & Material Planning – ensuring material availability aligned to production requirements
In addition, the role owns the Sunrise Supply Review process, providing visibility of capacity, constraints, and risks, and translating global demand into feasible and executable supply strategies.
Working through Production Planning, Buying, and Customer Operations, the role ensures full alignment between planning decisions and site execution, driving service performance, operational stability, and disciplined governance across the supply function.
Job Details/Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supply Planning & Customer Operations
- Own end-to-end supply planning execution, ensuring alignment from demand signal to customer delivery
- Lead customer operations including order management, order fulfilment, and stock allocation
- Ensure delivery performance and OTTP alignment with planning outputs
- Production Planning
- Lead production planning as the primary driver of supply plan integrity and execution performance
- Develop stable and executable production schedules aligned to demand and capacity
- Drive schedule adherence, utilization, and responsiveness
- Tactical Procurement & Material Planning
- Ensure raw material availability aligned to production plans
- Translate production plans into procurement signals
- Manage shortages, supplier constraints, and material inventory health
- Supply Review Ownership (SIOP)
- Own and lead the Supply Review process
- Provide capacity outlook, constraints, and supply scenarios
- Ensure alignment with executable site plans
- Inventory & Safety Stock Management
- Execute and optimize inventory policies for FG and RM
- Monitor inventory performance, coverage, ageing, and turns
- Drive corrective actions for imbalances and misalignment
- Deep knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, and inventory
- Experience SAP and SAP IBP frameworks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate material strategies across functions
- Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and develop people.
- Working knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to inventory, supply chain, and material availability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred), and reporting tools
- Creative thinker; able to lead problem-solving on complex and ambiguous problems.
- Office and clean room manufacturing environment.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Bachelors degree required, Preferred areas of study: Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering
- Masters degree preferred (MBA, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field)
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- 3–5 years of materials management, supply planning, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of experience in the medical device industry or related regulated industry (e.g., pharma, aerospace, automotive)
