We are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Shopper & Customer Activation Executive to join our Commercial Strategy & Execution team based in central London.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving shopper-focused activation strategies and ensuring successful execution of branded and own-label initiatives across Perrigo’s self-care categories. This position is ideal for a creative, but process-orientated, ambitious professional eager to make a real impact at the point of purchase.
At Perrigo, our Shopper Marketing function is a critical part of the Commercial Strategy & Execution team. Your job will be to make leading self-care products such as Galpharm, Solpadeine, NiQuitin, Bronchostop, ellaOne, and Compeed visible and accessible to consumers.
The role will have great exposure to leadership with strong progression opportunities across our commercial functions.
## **Scope of the Role**
* Shopper & Category Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for shopper activation at Perrigo, translating brand and category growth strategies into actionable shopper marketing plans.
* Agency Management: Manage day to day relationship with our shopper marketing agency to deliver projects. Make recommendations for process improvements, efficiencies and innovative solutions.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse POS for continuous improvement sharing insights and opportunities to optimise ROI and market share growth.
* Monthly Business Cycle: Play a key role in monthly meetings, feeding shopper activation plans into internal forums, and supporting Sales teams with compelling activation proposals, which meet brand objectives and retailer priorities.
* Retailer enagagement: Launch annual shopper marketing toolkits and support sales teams at customer strategy days with tailored activation plans.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with commercial strategy, RGM, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver integrated activation plans.
## **Experience Required**
* Minimum of 3 years in FMCG or Consumer Healthcare, with previous experience in shopper marketing, marketing or commercial strategy.
* Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable ROI through effective activation.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing across functions and with retailers.
* Self-reliance and an ownership mindset.
* Willingness to learn and focus on continuous improvement.
* Solid business acumen, strong written and oral communication skills
* Leads by influence, ability to motivate with energy and enthusiasm.
