At Stryker, we’re seeking a Project Manager in R &D supporting new product development who thrives on driving results, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes throughout the product development lifecycle from concept through commercialization. You will need to live within commuting distance to Stryker’s Irvine, CA office and be on-site 5 days per week.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of project charters, management plans, and detailed Gantt charts
- Define project scope with stakeholders and create structured work breakdowns to guide execution
- Monitor project budgets and ensure costs remain within approved limits
- Develop and maintain quality and risk management plans using industry-standard tools
- Assign and manage project team resources, clearly defining roles and deliverables
- Build and execute stakeholder and communication management plans
- Collaborate on procurement planning and vendor selection
- Develop and execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments
- Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
