What You Will Do:
The Production Technician I supports manufacturing operations by issuing materials, performing packaging activities, and maintaining accurate documentation in a regulated environment.
- Issue materials to manufacturing orders and support production activities across SJO, Biologics, Augment, or Xerogel operations
- Perform packaging operations including blister packaging, pouch sealing, cartoning, shrink wrapping, labeling, and operating digital scales
- Complete accurate documentation and data entry, including routers and Device History Records, in compliance with GMP and GDP standards
- Operate and clean equipment (including Miele washers) and perform required daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleanings
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on time and participate in daily management and continuous improvement activities
- Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving ability, adaptability, dependability, and a strong customer/service mindset
- Communicate effectively in English (written and verbal), follow safety, housekeeping, and ergonomic practices, and speak up on safety or quality concerns
- Meet physical and scheduling requirements, including standing or sitting for extended periods, operating machinery, wearing PPE, working overtime as needed, and showing motivation to learn, cross-train, and grow
What You Need:
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of twelve (12) months of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
- May involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as appropriate.
- May be required to reach, push, or pull to accomplish job accountabilities.
- Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
Require usage of PPE in designated areas.
