Power BI & Automation Specialist

The Power BI & Automation Analyst empowers Finance by delivering advanced data insights and process efficiencies through technology. This role focuses on designing and building complex, interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. In addition, the analyst leverages automation tools and programming languages such as Python to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy. By collaborating with stakeholders, understanding business requirements, and applying analytical expertise, the role ensures that reporting and automation solutions align with evolving financial and operational goals. Develop and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for Finance, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with business requirements. Design and implement automation solutions using Python, Power Automate, and RPA tools to streamline Finance processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency. Collaborate with Finance teams and subject matter experts to document process flows, business requirements, and value drivers for reporting and automation opportunities. Partner with IT teams—including developers, infrastructure, and project managers—to ensure seamless integration and delivery of reporting and automation solutions. Provide ongoing support for Power BI and automation tools, including troubleshooting, user guidance, and root cause analysis. Review, test, and deploy enhancements, interfaces, and customizations related to Finance reporting and automation initiatives. Offer subject matter expertise on data visualization, automation best practices, and process improvement within the team. Manage and maintain security roles and access controls for reporting and automation systems. University degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Typically a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence. Strong proficiency in Power BI for building complex reports and dashboards. Experience working with SAP for financial data and reporting. Knowledge of Python for data automation and scripting desirable. Familiarity with Power Automate and other automation tools (e.g., RPA platforms) considered an advantage.
