Finance Business Partner

We are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated Commercial Finance Business Partner This position will suit an experienced commercial finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG, or pharmaceutical environment, enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, and has a passion for turning data into actionable insights that drive growth. As the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitable and sustainable growth for Australia and NZ. You will provide finance business partnership and decision support to the Australian Market Lead and local commercial team, leveraging your analytical and influencing skills to shape strategic decisions. Scope of the Role * Drive Commercial Insights Partner with the Australian Market Lead and commercial team to deliver Net Revenue, Operating Income, and Working Capital targets. Provide actionable financial insights on pricing strategies, G2N, A&P investment, product launches, and portfolio mix. * Forecasting & Planning Excellence Lead the 5-year Long Range Planning process and annual budgeting cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimal resource allocation. Maintain high forecast accuracy through weekly and monthly operating income updates and support the monthly IBP process. * Create Value & Efficiency Champion initiatives to improve P&L performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Deliver finance training for non-finance teams and provide ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions. * Lead & Develop Talent Coach and mentor the Commercial Finance Analyst, fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion Experience Required * Qualified accountant ( CPA/CA/CIMA) * At least 5yrs within a highly commercial finance role in FMCG / Consumer goods industry * Good understanding of the commercial drivers of a consumer business * Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategies * Strong influencing & presentation skills * A proactive attitude and positive approach to problem solving and challenges * Expertise in excel and financial modelling – experience in PowerBI and PowerPivot is a benefit * Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing individuals and high-performing teams.
