About the role
Responsibilities
The Facilities & Metrology Technician I is an entry-level, hands-on technical role responsible for supporting facility maintenance activities and performing routine metrology and calibration tasks in a clean manufacturing and laboratory environment.
This position develops foundational skills through on-the-job training while supporting inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and routine calibration of facility systems, manufacturing equipment, and instrumentation.
About the Role
Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs throughout facilities, manufacturing areas, laboratories, and grounds.
Conduct routine scheduled maintenance to ensure instruments, equipment, and building systems remain compliant with operational and manufacturing requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with departmental SOPs, GMP/ISO requirements, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience working in ISO-13485 or GMP environments
- Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems
- Fundamental understanding of calibration principles and maintenance practices.
