Apprentice-Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant)

The Apprenticeship Trainee will assist in routine laboratory activities under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in chemical testing, sample preparation, and quality control processes. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to laboratory operations in a chemical plant environment. Responsibilities / Accountabilities: * Assist in collecting and preparing samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. * Perform basic chemical and physical tests under guidance (e.g., pH, density, moisture). * Support calibration and cleaning of laboratory instruments. * Maintain proper documentation of test results and observations. * Follow safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals. * Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Assist in inventory management of laboratory consumables. Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements): * Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and chemical safety. * Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
