Join our dedicated team at Unity Lab Services as a Lab Support Specialist, where we provide seamless support tailored to our customers' unique needs. Are you an organized individual with a passion for ensuring smooth lab operations?
In this role, we handle crucial lab support activities, includingglasswash, garment management, and gas/dry ice management. We ensure compliance and efficiency in all support activities, acting as the primary point of contact for lab personnel.
A day in the Life:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+years experiencewith material handlingrequired.
Good x Practice (GxP) environment or laboratory setting experiencerequired
Proven record of leading and mentoring teams, formally or informally
The role primarily involves working independently at customer sites, which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline.
Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, is oftenrequired.
The position requires regular lifting of 30-40lbs(up to 50lbsoccasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs.
Standing, walking, reaching, and bending are frequent activities, sometimes in varied temperature environments.
Overtime work may also be necessary.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $24.32–$36.48.
