About the role
The Key Account Manager for Beauty and Home Care is tasked to accelerate the sales growth in global strategic account and North China through in-depth understanding of the market, building relationship and understanding the unmet needs of the customers, is responsible for the development of new commercial opportunities with strategic accounts and/or distributors in the assigned territory. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence in global strategic accounts & North China regional customers and achieving our strategic growth targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Develop and execute account plans for global strategic and key regional customers
* Establish and maintain strong relationship with existing customers and prospecting new accounts to develop joint project and generate sales to deliver business objectives.
* Own and support strategic accounts while being accountable for driving sustainable top-line revenue and profitable growth.
* Coordinate resources across marketing, product, technical, and operational organizations to ensure best-in-class solution and service to fulfill customers’ needs and completion of customer projects.
* Actively promote the Lubrizol Beauty and Home care portfolio via face-to-face meetings, virtual calls, seminars, and tradeshows
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to anticipate customer and market needs while providing strategic insights to the management team
* Collect and analyze domestic brands’ financial viability, engagement & relationship potential, market position & competitive edge, strategic alignment, innovation & adaptability to select potential winners to collaborate.
* Record generated opportunities in CRM, ensuring pipeline is consistently updated and accurate
* Oversee order processes and manage demand forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
* Manage customer complaints and supply chain related issues effectively to ensure satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Manage and work well with distributors to achieve strategic growth targets.
REQUIRMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
* Bachelor’s Degree and above in Biology, Chemistry or related discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of sales experience.
* Proven track record of successfully strategic account management and achieving sales targets, preferably in personal care industry.
* Excellent communication skills to work in multi-culture and cross-functional team
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiating abilities.
* Ability to analyze market trends & dynamic and develop effective account plan.
* Possess a passion for sales profession with a ‘can-do’ attitude, goal orientated mindset.
* Self-motivated, proactive, positive, mature team player, able to work independently.
* Customer focused with strong willingness to go the extra mile.
* Fluent in English
* Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
* Travel frequency over 40%.
