We are searching for the best talent for a Finance Manager - Global HR, located in New Brunswick, NJ.
Purpose:
The Finance Manager serves as a strategic finance business partner supporting Global HR leadership and enterprise-wide HR initiatives and will partner with leaders across multiple HR functions. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, close activities, financial reporting, compliance, headcount management, and business decision support. The position will also partner closely with regional finance organizations and senior management to provide financial insights, drive accountability, and support strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with functional leaders to influence and shape business decisions
- Support quarterly business reviews and prepare executive-level presentations
- Manage risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls
- Produce accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis to influence business decisions
- Directly supervise a team of analysts and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Support finance transformation and systems implementation activities
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance or related business field is required
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance is required
- Strong leadership abilities, business collaboration, and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity is required
- Strong framing, communication and presentation skills – ability to synthesize data into clear narratives for senior leadership
- Experience with financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, internal controls, and forecasting
- Strong ability to assess priorities and drive execution of key business objectives and initiatives
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial accreditations are strongly preferred
- Knowledge of financial systems, planning tools, and reporting platforms such as SAP, AFO, Anaplan
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including leading a team and developing talent
Other:
- This position is in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic travel
- This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week following J&J flex policy.
