The _Commodity Manager_ is responsible for _independently managing assigned commodity categories to ensure supplier performance, cost optimization, and supply continuity. This role applies in_ _‑_ _depth procurement and market knowledge to develop and execute sourcing strategies, solve complex cost and supply challenges, and support business objectives through cross_ _‑_ _functional collaboration._.

This position reports to the _Director, Procurement_ and is part of the _Procurement Team_ located in _Cincinnati, Ohio_ and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Independently manage assigned commodities, including supplier performance, cost, and risk management
• Develop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with operational and business objectives
• Identify and deliver cost savings initiatives while monitoring market trends and key cost drivers
• Lead and support supplier negotiations and contractual agreements
• Act as a procurement resource for cross‑functional partners and less‑experienced colleagues

The essential requirements of the job include:

• _Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field_
• _4-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related operations roles_
• _Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and supporting sourcing or cost_ _‑_ _reduction initiatives_
• _Experience leading or supporting supplier negotiations and commercial agreements_
• _Proficiency using data, KPIs, Excel, and ERP systems to support decision_ _‑_ _making_

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• _Ability to travel up to 10–20%, including occasional overnight domestic travel; international travel as needed._

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• _Experience sourcing medical device components or assemblies._
• _Experience applying Lean principles or structured problem_ _‑_ _solving tools in a manufacturing environment_

Salary and Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is _**$90,000 - $105,000.** _This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
