The Chemical Operator will use computers and process control systems as part of the distributed control system (DCS) to safely monitor, control, and document production at the Charleston plant site, as well as perform field inspections to check safety status, environmental aspects, and to complete any manual tasks necessary for steady and safe operations. This role will cooperate with other qualified staff in serving, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance at the plant. The Chemical Operator will also work with hazardous materials and follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety, and quality.
Associate’s degree in technical or mathematical field OR High School Diploma or GED AND 5+ years of chemical operator experience dealing with hazardous chemicals such as HCl
