Job Description

Link Cell Therapies is looking for a highly motivated Senior/Principal Scientist to join our Cell Therapy team and support the preclinical progression of anti-solid tumor programs within our development pipeline. Reporting to the VP of Cell Therapy, the successful applicant will collaborate effectively with other scientists and be responsible for carrying out in vitro studies that enable the nomination of development candidates. Furthermore, the candidate will also be expected to be a key contributor in IND-enabling experiments and activities. Responsibilities

Contribute hands-on and supervise a team of junior scientists in activities involving early discovery, lead optimization and IND-enabling studies for pipeline programs
Contribute to the conception and design of in vivo studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety LINK CARs
Generate data packages that follow strong research principles and enable pipeline decisions
Present findings to stakeholders and company leadership
Maintain an updated electronic laboratory notebook

Required Qualifications

PhD in a relevant life sciences field with extensive (5-10 years for Senior, 10+ years for Principal) industry experience in CAR construct design and in the development of autologous Cell Therapies
Demonstrated experience supporting cell therapy programs through early discovery and into IND-enabling stages
Hands-on experience working with human T cells (isolation, culture, transduction, and expansion), T cell characterization assays (phenotyping, cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion) and multicolor Flow Cytometry (acquisition and analysis)
Experience managing and mentoring junior scientists
Self-motivator with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
Fluency with Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism and FlowJo

This is a hands-on, lab-based and on-site position based in South San Francisco, CA.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to 185,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
