Karios Technologies

Karios Technologies is focused on addressing large unmet needs in surgery, drug delivery, and regenerative medicine. We developed on our novel and innovative technology platform in collaborations with surgeons, bioengineers, and chemists at UCLA and UCSD. We are first focused on the reducing and preventing postsurgical adhesions with an initial use in cardiac, obstetric, gynecologic, and orthopedic applications. We are actively pursuing first studies to help children with congenital heart defects as well as C-section, hysterectomy, and tendon replacement patients.
